We are looking for a Senior Workato Developer to help lead the growth of Lucid’s integration platform. As a Sr. Workato Developer, you will spearhead integration and automation initiatives using the Workato platform. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of complex integration solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, leadership of development efforts, and ensuring optimal utilization of Workato's capabilities to meet business objectives.

Being one of the core members of our team, you will pioneer our systems strategy and draw on your experience to create a vision for designing and optimizing our Integration platform for rapid growth.

The ideal candidate has a background in integrating internal enterprise systems and external SaaS vendors, has proven success in a Integration Developer role, and has the desire to be a thought-leader on a quickly growing team.

You Will:

Solution Design and Development

  • Architect complex integration workflows (recipes) in Workato
  • Develop custom integrations using Workato's connectors and APIs
  • Write and optimize scripts, expressions, and formulas for data mapping, validation, and transformation

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other IT teams
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Provide regular updates and ensure alignment on integration objectives and timelines

Troubleshooting and Support

  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues related to integrations
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing integrations

Documentation and Training

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Conduct training sessions on Workato best practices and capabilities
  • Develop user guides and integration diagrams

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on the latest Workato features and integration technologies
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies or connectors to improve integration capabilities
  • Drive innovation in integration and automation processes

 

You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of integration experience with a minimum of 3 years on Workato
  • Strong understanding of integration concepts, patterns, and best practices
  • Extensive experience with multiple interface implementations in Workato
  • Proficiency in Workato recipes, connectors, expressions, and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript)
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and other data formats
  • Familiarity with cloud-based applications and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, Sap)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with other Integration Platforms
  • Knowledge of APIs - RESTful is a plus
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to mentor a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies
