Responsibilities/ Authorities
- Provides leadership and supervision in safe execution of work within the shop.
- Manages the maintenance, storage, shipping and receiving of equipment and material.
- Manages the execution of project loadouts (i.e., packing of materials and supplies, identified items within inventory, quality checks, shipping and receiving).
- Supervises team in support of daily operations including, shipping and receiving, and logistics, equipment, material and inventory management.
- Maintains records and documents related to shipping and receiving, equipment and material inventories.
- Works as the focal point for all tools, equipment and material requests.
- Coordinates and supervises daily work task for shop crew.
- Conducts and audits JSA's and all other Safety, Health and Environmental Processes.
- Maintains adequate Tool Inventory and Materials Management.
- Proficiently coordinates resources (e.g., man-power, equipment, material, etc.) to maximize efficiency and accuracy while minimizing safety risks and costs.
- Confirms that all materials and supplies are received into base inventory.
- Coordinates with 3rd party logistics/transportation providers and interfaces with Bilfinger project leads and customer logistics on schedules and alternatives to ensure on time delivery.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness and dependability to produce quality results.
- Recognizes company goals and maintain safety culture.
- Corresponds and communicates verbally and/or in writing in a professional manner with site supervision, management, customers and vendors.
Education/ Certification/ Training/ Experience Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5+) years of relevant experience.
- General construction/fabric maintenance knowledge with demonstrable ability to identify, evaluate and/or troubleshoot equipment/tools.
- Competence in supervising and leading others with measurable proofs.
- Experienced in conducting job scopes and preparing documentation related to shipping and receiving.
- Strong organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products for reporting and correspondence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service driven with strong leadership, coaching and influencing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Good working knowledge of SAP, Permit to Work, and MOC systems.
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Climbing, stooping, bending, balancing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds often and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
