The Senior Corporate Bond Trader is a key contributor to our growing Investment team, responsible for sourcing and executing trades across investment grade and high yield credit. This role supports multiple portfolios with diverse risk and strategy profiles. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset—along with a proactive approach to market analysis, risk assessment, and idea generation.

What you will do:
  • Oversee all aspects of the trading process, including identifying trading needs, building allocations, trade execution and ensuring the timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of all trades
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with sell-side coverage
  • Obtain, monitor, and communicate daily flow information and market color with the investment team
  • Actively monitor primary and secondary markets for trade opportunities
  • Communicate directly with broker/dealer counterparties as well as utilize various electronic trading systems
  • Maintain strict compliance with all investment policies and company specific guidelines
  • Assist in the effort to continuously improve the capability and scalability of the team’s investment process
  • Execute derivative transactions when needed that can consist of swaptions, FX swaps and futures

What you will bring:
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Finance, Economics or another quantitative field
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation or progress toward obtaining CFA 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant fixed income trading experience
  • FINRA fingerprinting required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What will set you apart:
  • Proven track record trading investment grade or high yield corporate credit is strongly preferred
  • Confident navigating Bloomberg, Tradeweb, and MarketAxess for execution and analysis—experience with these platforms is a plus
  • Experience trading derivatives, including futures, swaps and options, is a plus
  • Strong Excel skills preferred 

Location: This is a hybrid position based in Greenwood Village, CO

Base Salary Range

$117,400.00 - $170,200.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
