Position Summary:
BOOST LLC is assisting Sedna in recruiting a Senior HR Generalist to join their team and provide strategic hands-on HR support within a growing government contracting environment. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting, enjoys partnering with leadership, and is ready to take on a broader strategic role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and staff on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment regulations, including OFCCP and EEO requirements.
- Support and guide managers through employee relations issues, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Partner with leadership in workforce planning, compensation, and retention strategies.
- Mentor and develop junior HR staff to strengthen team capability and service delivery.
- Lead or participate in HR projects that enhance organizational culture, efficiency, and employee engagement.
- Coordinate Safety and Health programs, partnering with the integrated team to review workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing workforce planning strategies, company policies, benefits and payroll processes, performance management programs, and employee recordkeeping.
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, most of this time within a government contracting environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred).
- Solid understanding and proven success in creating and administering federal contracting HR compliance (e.g., EEO, affirmative action, OFCCP compliance, etc).
- Experience with workplace safety and health coordination is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite Products.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Clearance Requirement:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.
Salary Range:
- $90K to $120K (Salary commensurate with experience)
