Reporting into Head, Enterprise Data Management office, the SVP, Technology, Data Management Standards, Business Assurance will play a pivotal role ensuring the company is complying with the enterprise data management Standard, strategy, procedures, tools and metrics including regulatory oversight. This role will be responsible for ensuring all data management requirements are met, regulatory oversight for compliance and closure to data management findings are managed and monitored effectively while in parallel, lead the data management transaction testing team for the enterprise.. The role will be collaborating via their team with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to track, monitor and report progress on all data management regulatory findings including Enterprise Data Management office owned findings while in parallel this role will lead a team who is responsible for the main engagement channel/intake for data management and all engagements will be routed to the correct enterprise data management team for operational support and guidance. This AVP role is critical, to meet our Road to Strong for data management against the multiple regulatory findings & the enterprise data management office provides the enterprise data management strategy, standard, procedures, tools and metrics that the road to strong programs will need to comply with to ensure all regulatory findings remediations meet data management compliance. This executive role will ensure all findings including road to strong that the enterprise data management office is tracking the remediations effectively via our metrics while in parallel ensuring any EDMO findings are lead by this leader and their team to closure effectively. This role will be responsible for driving the accountability for data management operations and enablement across the enterprise by ensuring effective monitoring, tracking, reporting and awareness are provided to all levels of leadership and that an effective centralized intake process is defined, implemented and executed upon for timeline data management support for the enterprise.
- Establish and lead a data operations and enablement team to define and maintain data management regulatory oversight, operations and engagements across the Enterprise
- Establish a comprehensive view of data management performance indicators, qualitative risk themes, dependency management and the development of program reporting practices and a centralized data repository for regulatory findings and engagements.
- Partner across various cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify, categorize and prioritize data management engagements/intakes and regulatory findings.
- Represent the state of TD's data management regulatory findings in partnership with the regulatory and audit oversight teams to the CDO (Chief Data Officer and executive leadership.
- Foster a continuous improvement mindset and propose enhancements to the program informed by industry trends and best practices.
- Develop strong relationships across 1st and 2nd lines of defense and lines of business to foster a consistent and collaborative approach to proactive governance.
- Provide people leadership via hiring the best talent, setting clear goals, managing employee performance and championing excellence.
