What You'll Do:
In the Clinical Program Manager role, you’ll oversee agency-wide, clinical administration of intern/associate supervision, student practicum placements and the implementation of the agency workforce development program. This position is responsible for program administration, clinical operations, service delivery, program compliance, and supervision of staff.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of a student scholarship program with the goal of developing a behavioral health workforce that is culturally and linguistically capable of meeting the demands of underserved communities
- Establishes and oversees an agency mentorship program for intern and associate clinicians
- Oversees the supervision and placement of interns and associate clinicians
- Provides administrative supervision and oversight to interns and associates
- Supervise and monitor staff job performance, complete performance evaluations, ensure on-going staff training and development, and participate in the hiring of staff
- Perform periodic reviews of staff’s assessments, case plans, progress notes, documentation, and outcomes as appropriate.
- Research, recommend and Implement best workplace and clinical practices
- Provides operational statistics and client outcomes for the agency and community partners and ensures timely and accurate data
- Coordinates for external program evaluation to demonstrate efficacy and scalability
- Ensure compliance with program goals/objectives and reporting pursuant to grants and contracts for departmental programs; help develop metrics for program accountability and success
- Work with other members of the management team to ensure successful communication and coordination between all programs, and participate in strategic planning
- Serve as Interfaith’s liaison with other health and human service agencies, both public and private; act as an ambassador of Interfaith to the community, government agencies and others.
- Identify best practices to attract and retain culturally and linguistically proficient staff
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; access and monitor workload, administrative and support systems, and internal reporting relationships; identify opportunities for improvement, facilitate the implementation of changes
- Develop and manage a comprehensive outreach/working relationship with all stakeholders, elected officials and staff, commercial and private community activists, and clients
- Assist the team with administrative tasks as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
Who You Are:
You're passionate about making a lasting impact, whether supporting individuals directly or enhancing our organizational effectiveness. To thrive in this role, you'll:
- Masters Degree in Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or related field. Licensed by the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), required
- 2+ years of experience working in a Social Services, Nonprofit or related setting, required
- 2+ years of experience working with severely mentally ill, medically fragile, and/or homeless populations, preferred
- 1+ year of management experience, preferred
- Ability to supervise associates registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), required
