Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst /Principal Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst.  This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst (A02): Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 0 years of related professional experience - OR - 4 additional years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Principal Program Planning Analyst (A03): Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 3 years of related professional experience - OR - a PhD with 1 year of related professional experience. 4 additional years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Required for Both Level(s): 

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.) 
  • Experience with MS Project, P6 Primavera, Deltek Open Plan, Deltek Cobra/MPM, Deltek Acumen, or other Schedule Risk Assessment software tools
  • Experience working in Microsoft Project Server Environment
    Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel
  • Aerospace/Defense Industry Experience
  • Excel Macro/VBA Skills
  • Strong analytical ability

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Active DoD Secret level security clearance (with the investigation in the past 6 years). US citizenship is a prerequisite.
  • Active SCI (SSBI) or DoD Top Secret security clearance (with a full investigation within the past 6 years).
  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
  • 1+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
  • Experience with Schedule Analytics and Schedule Risk Assessment tools
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00Salary Range 2: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
