📍 Hybrid – Phoenix, AZ

A1 Garage Door Service is growing fast, and we’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to support our growing workforce. Reporting to the Manager, People Operations & Programs, this role will focus on building out HR systems, answering employee questions, and supporting company-wide programs that make the employee experience seamless.

✨ What You’ll Do

⚙️ Systems & Processes

• Help build and improve HR workflows, documentation, and reporting

• Manage updates and troubleshooting in UKG Ready and other HR systems

• Support compliance activities, including file audits and required postings

👥 Employee Support

• Serve as a first point of contact for day-to-day employee HR questions

• Provide guidance on policies, benefits, and leave programs

• Escalate complex matters to the Sr. Manager as needed

📑 Program Support

• Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and vendor coordination

• Support engagement, recognition, and LMS programs to enhance employee development

• Ensure smooth coordination across onboarding, offboarding, and HR processes

✅ What You Bring

• 3+ years of HR/People Ops experience

• Strong knowledge of HR systems (UKG Ready preferred)

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills — able to analyze data, create reports, and develop presentations

• Experience with LMS administration is a plus

• Detail-oriented with a process improvement mindset

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (HR certification a plus)
