Overview

Major Functions:• Provide business expertise to store owners to help them grow sales and profits.

 

Territory Area:

 

Northern Flordia, Georgia, South Carolina 

 

Primary Location Cloumbia SC 

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with store owners and assist them in making money and growing retail sales. Advise them on all facets of the business, including store merchandising, operations, real estate, human resources, loss prevention, finance, and information systems.• Advise store owners of long-term, broad trends, keeping retailers up to date with the industry's latest thinking.• Keep retailers informed about competitive activity and help them increase market share.• Increase sales penetration/retail and wholesale sales.• Affiliate new customers.• Provide sales support: inform retailer of new programs and items, industry changes, and assist with promotional execution, etc.• Responsible for weekly accounts receivable.• Maintain sales expenses within budget.• Communicate and sign up customers for the Merchandising Shows and other merchandising events.• Accountable for new business development growth.

• Other related activities

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred.

• Previous successful experience in running multi-volume grocery stores required.• Knowledgeable of retail grocery store operations from front to back door, financials, leadership, with successful people skills. Wholesale grocery experience preferred

. Retail Grocery Store Manager experience is a must have.

. Background in Retail Fresh Departments.
