SPA has an immediate need for a Low Code Application Developer.

Responsibilities

About the Position

SPA is seeking a versatile and driven Low Code Application Developer to build and deploy powerful data-driven applications using platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Power Platform, OutSystems, Mendix, or similar modern low-code tools. This role is focused on delivering applications using these platforms, not engineering the platforms themselves. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to rapidly deliver scalable tools and workflows that solve real-world business problems, especially in data-rich, high-impact environments.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Design and deliver end-user applications using low-code development environments such as Palantir Foundry’s Workshop, Ontology Builder, and pipelines – or equivalents on platforms like Power Platform or Mendix.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and users to understand requirements, map workflows, and build interactive applications with minimal traditional code.
  • Build modular applications using drag-and-drop tools, visual logic editors, and preconfigured components that reduce time-to-value.
  • Integrate with external systems via built-in platform connectors or APIs to automate workflows and centralize data.
  • Support full application lifecycle: prototyping, deployment, optimization, and ongoing maintenance, especially in rapidly evolving operational environments.
  • Utilize platform-native tools for data transformation, logic flows, reporting, dashboards, and user role configuration.
  • Remain current with new platform capabilities and incorporate emerging best practices into solution design.

This is a hybrid position. You will be expected to work on-site with the Government customer at an off-Base location 2 – 3 times a week either in Colorado Springs, CO or El Segundo, CA due to the fast pace, quick-turn nature of the job and the persistent need to access secure networks. Thus, residing in comfortable driving distance of either Colorado Springs, CO or El Segundo, CA should be considered.

Qualifications

About the Must Haves

  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in software or application development, including experience working with low-code platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in building business-facing applications using low-code tools (e.g., forms, workflows, dashboards, permissions)
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, application logic, and workflow configuration in a low-code setting
  • Ability to build and troubleshoot data integrations (APIs, ETL, pipelines) using platform-native methods
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skil
