Manager - Technology (Government)

The Technology Manager will play a key role in assisting the lead project manager, the customer, and the program team by managing all logistical and coordination activities for these projects.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain project data files
- Generate and format Word documents and PowerPoint slides along with Excel tables for project communications
- Schedule and maintain project teleconference and videoconference meetings using MS Outlook and Teams; record and distribute project meeting minutes as required
- Reconcile project labor hour reports and travel expense reports using MS Excel formulas and pivot tables as required to satisfy project invoice submittal and customer billing requirements
- Manage 38 Direct Reports
- Maintaining status and tracking files to present updates to AT&T members and the government customer
- Candidates must be capable of applying management skills to all aspects of program success measured by customer satisfaction, financial objectives and contributions to the responsible AT&T business unit. The person in this position will work as a member of the AT&T Public Sector management team which is responsible for Professional Service and be willing to work with a team of AT&T and subcontractor teammates.
- Prior experience in federal contractor programs; experience in DHS/DOD voice communications is a plus; experience in transitioning legacy voice and data services to new technologies is a plus. Experience with order entry, management and oversight; Experience using government contracts; Experience in implementing contract modifications; Able to represent AT&T well to all levels of customers and suppliers; Ability to effectively convey ideas, facts, and directions in either written or verbal form, both informally and formally; Plans ahead, but flexibly adjusts plans as circumstances evolve or assumptions are changed; Anticipates potential problems, identifies risks, plans contingencies; Able to work multiple issues simultaneously while maintaining professional composure.

Required Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process.
- Associate’s degree or higher in a technical field or area of study
- 2-5 years’ experience working project administration, preferably on Federal contract IT/Network technical projects
- Communicate professionally with internal team members and external customer stakeholders (verbal, written, email, etc.)
- High proficiency with MS Office tools (including Microsoft Project), SharePoint, and Teams video conf platforms
- Experience organizing, maintaining, and reporting on project technical and financial information
- Lead team of ~38 Direct Reports
- Individual must have proven history as a quick learner with the ability to organize and take on increasingly complex project tasks
- Self-starting individual who can learn tasks quickly, and proactively take over tasks without constant direction from the lead PM.
