Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location:  6834 Medical View Lane, Zephyrhills, FL

Schedule: Full Time Mon - Fri with evening until 7pm

Compensation: Starting at $25+/hr. Starting salary calculated by experience.

Incentives: $5,000 sign on bonus PLUS indefinite student debt repayment assistance of $200/month

 

Select Physical Therapy in Zephyrhills, FL is now hiring a licensed Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Work with a highly experienced team of 2 PTs, 1 PTA and 1 OT treating an orthopedic population which includes neuro, vestibular, concussion, prosthetics & orthotics, amputees, FCEs, POETS, hand therapy and fall prevention. PPD 10-12. Newly licensed and experienced outpatient PTA's, APPLY! Let's foster your growth!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
• CPR Certification
