Product Designer/Anchor - SAP MM/Logistics

Ford Motor Company is undertaking a transformational initiative, referred to as the Integrated ERP Program (iERP) to significantly reduce the size and complexity of Ford's technical footprint, refocus on differentiating capabilities, and standardize their business processes. Current iERP focus is on the transformation of Supply Chain and Finance globally. This position is seeking for an experienced product anchor/designer that has a strong experience in ERP implementations with a special emphasis on SAP S/4 HANA Materials Management and logistics functional areas.

 

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate prioritization of business needs and perform full life-cycle management of relevant products/services process/technology simplification
• Provide SME and domain expertise in the business processes for source to pay for global design in automotive industry to simplify the products/services
• Ensure the quality of the product/services offered in the portfolio – through various testing cycles – Functional, Security, Integration, User Acceptance
• Ensure S-Ox compliance and adhere to and enhance controls thereof
• Build and support Ford’s vision to build an SAP-centric footprint expanding enterprise resource planning beyond direct procurement and supporting enterprise digital thread and material planning logistics initiatives
• Lead and conduct conference room pilots to prepare roadmaps to launch solution to remaining regions
• Provide design direction to team members and software Engineers (such as ABAP, GCP/PCF, Fiori) and help realize the designed solutions 
• Collaborate with Ford Business, IT, Implementation partners, cross-functional stakeholders to design best in class solutions and integrations optimized for the Ford ecosystem that include non-SAP legacy systems

The minimum requirements we seek:

• Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field 
• Team player, organized, pays attention to detail, is highly motivated and is a self-starter

Our preferred requirements: 

• Experience in Automotive / Manufacturing industry
• Experienced in at least 1 full life cycle of S4 HANA and Fiori implementation 
• Ability to lead collaborative global teams during steady state, post go live and developing strategic solutions 
• Highly motivated team member with good interpersonal and strong communication skills
• Experience in hands-on and root-cause analysis skills
• Relevant SAP Certification 
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 integrations in Source To Pay and Material Planning
• Knowledge of Ariba Sourcing and Supply Chain Collaboration
