Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a

Corporate Senior Finance Consultant

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This position is hybrid for residents of Virginia in the Hampton Roads area.

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Position Summary:

• Provides financial, analytical and management support to assigned service line/business entity.
• Participates as a consultant and decision maker on the leadership team of assigned service lines/business units and assists team in aligning operations with strategic goals of the organization.
• Manages system-wide projects, develops and tracks business performance management tools, and leads implementation of new initiatives related to financial analysis and reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Master's Degree in Business Administration/ Health Administration preferred. 
• 7 years experience in Finance required. 3 years experience in Healthcare required. CPA in lieu of 1 year of experience.
• Experience with Case Mix, Axiom, Medipac preferred. CPA/CMA Preferred
• For Health Plans ( Optima) positions related bachelor's level degrees accepted.
