About Coastal Carolina Hospital
Coastal Carolina Hospital (CCH) is a 41-bed acute care hospital located at 1000 Medical Center Drive in Hardeeville, SC. Opened in 2004, CCH joined the healthcare system in 2007 and serves patients in Bluffton, Okatie, Hardeeville and surrounding counties through its care team of over 400 colleagues and over 70 physicians. The hospital provides many services to the community including a 24-hour emergency department, a dedicated Women’s Pavilion, and robotic-assisted minimally-invasive surgery. Coastal Carolina also has oversight of Tidewatch Emergency Department located in Okatie, SC which is the area’s first stand-alone emergency facility providing convenient care staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians, experienced nurses and support staff 24/7/365. Market House Nursing Supervisor Full Time Days Position Summary 
Supervises the work of assigned personnel facility-wide.  Assists Department Directors administratively and clinically and assumes responsibility in her/his absence.  Assists Department Directors in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling facility activities.  Responsible for assisting the department director/clinical lead for the staff performance and the accomplishment of departmental responsibilities in accordance with corporate, hospital, departmental, and safety policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements.  Responsible for providing high-quality patient care to and acting as a liaison with patients and their representatives, physicians, and employees.  Responsible for the efficient operation of the facility operations and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs when on duty.

THE MARKET HOUSE NURSINGSUPERVISOR FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.   


Education:
Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
Masters Degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or Business Administration preferred

Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years Emergency or Critical Care Nursing preferred
One (1) year charge nurse experience preferred.

Other Requirements:
South Carolina Nursing license
American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support card
ACLS certification
PALS certification preferred

Plans and organizes training for unit staff members and participates in guidance and educational programs.

Education:

Required: Academic degree in nursing.
Preferred: Bachelor's or master's degree.

Experience:

 

Certifications:

Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. AHA BLS.
