Marketing Procurement Intern

This role is a paid internship located in our Louisville, KY office and is an office/hybrid role for 2024 Summer Internship Program (May-August).

What the Role Is

As a Marketing Procurement Intern, you’ll support the promotion development of point of sale (POS) materials and will support the Marketing Procurement Team on all brands. You’ll will work closely with different marketing team members, brand managers, sales, suppliers, accounts payable and receivable, production staff and customer service representatives. Responsibilities could also include purchase order and invoice management.

As part of the Heaven Hill Summer Internship Program, you will directly support the organizations strategic goals through project work and business-critical assignments. How You Will Spend Your Time?

• Maintain brand POS on our Sales Resource site
• Assist with product introduction packets and sales material distribution
• Assist with company and brand sponsored events and procurement
• Approve orders for sales and field marketing and place orders on the site
• Monitor brand sales and field marketing requests including order/shipping inquiries, follow up and special product requests
• Initiate purchase orders and invoice processing
• Work with vendors to submit purchase orders
• Work with Creative Services Department to fulfill creative requests for sales and marketing

Who You Are…

• Currently pursuing a Marketing, Management or related degree
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to think creatively, developing, designing, and creating new themes, event ideas, and possibilities
• Critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to troubleshoot problems under pressure
• Proficiency in using office equipment and with all Microsoft Office programs
• Strong organization and attention to detail

Physical Requirements

While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
