Senior UX Designer, AWS Systems Manager

Systems Manager is the operations hub that AWS customers use to manage their resources on AWS and in multicloud and hybrid environments. We are looking for a Senior UX Designer who leads by doing and is comfortable designing at all stages of the product lifecycle. In this role, you will own the end to end UX process, from discovery to delivery for a set of capabilities. You will have an opportunity to collaborate with a team of researchers, product managers, software development engineers and design technologists. Key job responsibilities
• Lead UX design for at least one product/ area.
• Follow a user centered design process
• Lead design reviews
• This role requires fluency in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, user experience principles and techniques.
• This role requires excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Basic Qualifications

- 8+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
- Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience acquiring user data (e.g. conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
