Overall profile/requirement:
• Very good PMO knowledge and specific knowledge of Eviden processes/tools (as a “final” requirement);
• People to be quite senior and also open/willing for “controlling” projects and not afraid of discussions with project managers; • German language skills are desirable/recommended; deliver location could be Poland, Romania, India.
Tasks of the role would be:
• Ensuring that fundamental standards are set up and tools/processes are in place for instance: project plan (Parma, Jira, MS project), IPSM-Reporting, Contract is available and known, …
• Being able to provide initial support or identify gaps/potential where additional dedicated PMO support is needed;
Qualification for role/profile:
- We are looking for an experienced IT professional in Project Management/Program Management Office area. The person must be qualifiable to deal/negotiate with Project Managers of medium/large projects serving Global Clients in a remote delivery model.
- The PMO (in this case: Project Control Office) role aims to ensure the right governance and controls are in place in terms of project management processes, procedures, tools and techniques.
Main Task is control and support of projects/programs in the following areas:
• Ensure adequate quality & anticipation on projects/service delivered;
• Ensure the project library, filling, recording and reporting systems, maintaining a clean repository structure; • Control and guidance in regards to the tools in use: MS Project, CIP, PARMA, ... • Act as the Quality Gate Keeper, ensuring the project team is aware of the standard methodology (PMC), and is being applied;
• Monitor timely reporting and quality in the delivery of standard reports and in regards to meeting preparations/inputs needed;
• Control project plans & any other related reports based on the current Project schedule;
• Flexibility with respect to working times.
• Experience & Technical-skills:
- Recent and relevant experience of min. 2 years of PMO roles or equivalent good understanding of project environment & set-up;
- Business English level (writing & speaking); - German Language (writing & speaking); - Advanced MS Office Skills (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Outlook);
- Medium/Advanced Project panning skills (knowledge on scheduling the program/project plan using project management tools such as MS Project)
- Financial understanding.
• Soft-skills:
- Excellent communication skills - leadership potential;
- Experience interviewing Program/Project Managers to gather requirements & collect data; - Good interpersonal skills.
