Nokia of America Corporation, 4G/5G Operations Engineer (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX.
SALARY RANGE: $150,477 - 226,673 per year
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)
Perform product architecture for Nokia Private Networks to propose solutions to customer requests and proposals. Enable solutions for customers based on their requests for dashboards, KPI reports, and integrate their service desk with Nokia. Perform preventive maintenance for US customers pLTE network and integrate customer’s automation solution with Nokia Private LTE solution. Operate and maintain Nokia NDAC US DCs and US Customer networks. Monitor US Customer pLTE networks and resolve any Customer pLTE issues that arise. Implement and test the functionality of API calls to the applications used by customers and understand customer use cases. Inspect and fix any development related issues found during customer operations. #LI-DNI
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 6 years of experience (of which 5 years must be post-bachelor’s, progressive). Or a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following: Cellular network design and operation; Cellular device configuration; IP networking and routing, or system setup; Agile; Kubernetes, Isitio, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted, up to 40%.
