Overview
The Machine Operator will work in a high-performance work organization on a cross functional team that utilizes the operator’s ability to perform multiple tasks and work within a team environment. Operators need to be cooperative and willing to apply their skills and rotate positions on a regular basis to make the team successful.
What you will do:

• Work on doors and door components  
• Tape, package and/or move doors and/or door components
• Responsible for contributing to the achievement of productivity, quality and safety objectives in the work area process
• Does minor repair if required
• Read/verify schedules
• Provide quality checks as related to door/components for proper dimensions and visually inspect for blemishes and all components.
• Track, notify and/or document defects/failures
• Move/Set up/Stage materials manually (and/or with air lift and forklift as needed).
• Pull doors/components from stock and line up for all operations needed
• Ensure that doors/components are done completely and correctly and are ready for next process  
• Constant communication with up/down stream departments and supervision
• Follow safety and process procedures

Other duties as assigned by supervisor/management

What you will need:
•    Preferably one year experience in manufacturing setting working in a similar role
•    HS Diploma or GED equivalent
•    Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read and interpret the production schedule
• Work with minimal/limited supervision
• Fast paced with high attention to detail and quality
