Operations Leader

We are looking for a talented Logistics Site Operations Leader to join our team specializing in Logistics in Florence, KY. 

In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Manage and develop supply chain capability; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.
• Set the aim for the organization and ensure individual work plans are consistent with supply chain initiatives.
• Ensure Cummins values are demonstrated on-site, including championing diversity, community involvement, and right environment initiatives.
• Manage daily operations across functions to ensure a dependable and efficient supply chain.
• Lead continuous improvement projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence direction, leveraging common processes, tools, and information systems.
• Support Corporate Supply Chain initiatives and lead cross Business Unit planning processes to ensure intra-company alignment.
• Create common supply chain processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships.
• Approach daily problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities strategically and tactically to achieve performance targets.
• Develop, understand, and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators.
• Analyze operational trends and develop corrective action plans.
• Address supply chain failures promptly to ensure operations stability; escalate as appropriate.
• Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.
