Operations Manager - Brokerage

At our New Jersey-based company, we're on the lookout for a hands-on individual who's ready to dive in and make a difference. As a key player in our LTL/FTL operations, you'll collaborate closely with our sales team and executives to develop innovative solutions that drive cost savings and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the growth and development of our LTL/FTL product line.
• Report directly to the Vice President, contributing your expertise to strategic decision-making.
• Leverage your background in logistics and 3PL experience to streamline operations and exceed customer expectations.
• From quoting to problem-solving, you'll handle a range of tasks including tracking, sourcing, and customer interaction.
• Utilize your TMS expertise to optimize processes and maximize efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in LTL/FTL within a 3PL environment.
• Deep understanding of LTL carrier operations, pricing, and industry terminology.
• Proficiency in TMS software and external resources like SMC3.
• Proven track record of building strong relationships with customers and carriers.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to achieve shared goals.
• Experience in multi-modal operations is a plus.
