Occupational Therapist - Per Diem

Responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered occupational therapy services in the acute care setting. The therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs that promote independence, safety, and functional recovery for patients with a wide range of medical conditions.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• New clinicians considered
• Excellent communication skills
• Follows practice guidelines
• Able to interpret patient status and adapt treatment plan accordingly
• Able to use a computer
• Able to prioritize work tasks
• Able to treat wide variety of diagnoses
• Able to communicate with interdisciplinary care team members

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Prior hospital setting
• Experience with custom splint making

Educational Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Bachelors, Master’s or Doctorate of Occupational Therapy Program

License/Certification:

• MA License
• CPR
