About the role

Description

The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Special Events Department, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills. The position is part-time and onsite.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative and customer support to Sales and Special Events Department
  • Create and manage department scheduling in Humanity
  • Oversee the department voicemail system, forwarding calls to appropriate personnel
  • Prepare and organize reports, schedules, and other essential documents
  • Audit the Salesforce, Garden Master Calendar, and Piedmont Park Calendar, providing necessary updates
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly briefings
  • Gather materials and assemble information packets
  • Maintain and update records, files, and bookings in company databases
  • Provide administrative support across departments as required

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and problem-solve proactively

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Intermittent standing and walking with extended periods of sitting in meetings, at desk or working at computer
  • Visual and aural acuity, manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and work in a variety of environments
