Position Overview

The Finance & Accounts team, located in Atlanta Georgia, is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A! This role will report to the Manager, FP&A, Reporting, North America. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the FP&A Manager in delivering monthly management reporting covering all elements of the P&L/Cash flow and coordinating with functional leaders to understand key drivers of performance, explaining actuals, and preparing detailed Forecasts/Plans. This role will also support the FP&A Manager with sensitive monthly/quarterly inputs for MMR/QBR packages and ad hoc requests from Management team!

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Support the monthly reporting process to support decision making with business-oriented view of the financial performance
• Consolidate region-wide variance analysis vs Plan and Forecast, as well as root cause analyses and narratives
• Support SG&A functional reporting with specific focus on IT
• Work with IT/SG&A functional leaders in establishing annual budgets and report out on key variances. Use persuasion and communication skills to drive performance towards company-wide goals/KPI’s
• Coordinate cash flow reporting including detailed working capital management calculations
• Manage different workflows within the team and prioritize where required, to enable a high level of financial and operational information on a timely basis
• Maintain and develop PowerBI based dashboards
• Monthly update of cost outlook for the quarter and quarterly preparation/consolidation of the 18-month rolling forecast
• Support preparation of the annual Plan and Strategic Plan; understand the impact of key assumptions and market dynamics on business projections
• Become familiar with full P&L and be able to explain key drivers of net income

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Science or a related field
• Minium of 5 years progressive experience in managing financial data
• Basic knowledge of US-GAAP and management accounting principles
• User experience with ERP or Consolidation/Forecasting systems (Hyperion, OneStream, SAP etc)
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite
• User experience with PowerBi
• Proactive participative management style, demonstrating curiosity and passion about Novelis business while staying well organized and structured
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including facilitation of groups toward deliverables

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or graduate degree in Finance/Data Science
• Experience in manufacturing organization
• Development ability of PowerBi
