About the work

 

We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated person to join our Nordic consumer claims team as a Senior Claims Adjuster/Team Leader. Our team consists of 15 professionals located in Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.

As the Senior Claims Adjuster/Team Leader in Finland, you will have the responsibility of leading our Finnish consumer claims team. This team consists of 2 claims adjusters and 2 junior claims adjusters. Your role will involve close collaboration with our business and underwriting team, as well as representing Chubb and our Finnish consumer claims department in various meetings.

You will work 50% as a senior claims adjuster and 50% as Team Leader.

Main Duties: Team Leader

• Ensure adherence to best practices, identify blind spots, and keep develop our claims team to maintain high quality in claims handling,
• Establish priorities for the team, providing support, mentoring, and coaching as required,
• Prepare and deliver presentations for internal and external stakeholders,

Main Duties: Senior Claims Adjuster

• Handle illness/accident and life claims efficiently and effectively,
• Identify and resolve complaints in a professional manner,
• Provide guidance to the team on more complex claims, 

 

Qualifications: 

• Have experience in service professions with customer contact and customer care, for example claims handling,
• Has the ability to make quick decisions and stays calm in stressful situations and explain decisions in a clear way,
• Can focus and quickly adapt to changing circumstances,
• Have easy to collaborate with others, take responsibility for your own performance and put a great commitment into your work,
• Fluent in Finnish in speech and writing and very good knowledge of English in speech and writing,

Meritorious qualifications:

• If you have experience with the commercial business (Property, casualty, financial lines, marine),
• Other Nordic languages
