Position Overview
This is a skilled position involving the bidding and management of both earthwork and utility scopes.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Proficient with Web-based, Internet, Contract Management, and Office Software including Viewpoint, SciQuest, Microsoft Office, UDOT Bid Letting, BidSync, and InField.
- Ensuring bid packages are complete; i.e., executing bid bonds, and completing all required paperwork required for bid submittal.
- Complete any prequalification packages required to ensure bidding eligibility.
- Download and print plan and specification packages for estimators.
- Keep up on all bid invitations sent to me through email, and bidding magazines. Ensure that they are assigned to their proper areas, and estimator.
- Keep up Pipeline adding all new projects to be bid, and who is bidding them.
- Setting up any projects in Bid2Win the estimator requests.
- Responsible to electronically submit bids for all owners using electronic bidding systems: UDOT , ADOT, BidSync, SciQuest, UPRR.
- Complete Good Faith Efforts for any bids that require us to do so.
- Create, up-date any reports requested by estimators in Pipeline to track projects bid, and bid results.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diplomoa or GED required
- Associate's Degree preferred
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed and involved instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Database software. Previous use of estimating software, takeoff software, scheduling software, and accounting software is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Standard Driver’s License is required.
