The Registered Nurse Emeritus is a retired or experienced nurse who improves clinical practice through mentorship and coaching while coordinating with an assigned nurse during the provision of direct patient care. With a commitment to patient- and family-centered care, the nurse uses the nursing process in ways that values the uniqueness of each individual and addresses the physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of the diversity of patients served by Jefferson Health. Assists with developing nursing plans of care with the patient and their designated care partner(s) to effectively address the individualized needs and priorities of patients and are consistent with their cultural beliefs and values.
Qualifications for this position include:
- Successful completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing strongly preferred.
- More than 5 years RN experience required
- State Issued RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

$0.00 to $285.00The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
