Scope of Position:
This highly motivated individual, as part of the Field Service team, will be responsible for providing critical field & technical support to sales representatives and customers to ensure optimum product satisfaction.
This position reports to the Field Service Manager and is remote.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for commercial boilers, providing technical support to customers, representatives, and service technicians regarding product performance, troubleshooting, and service-related issues.
- Visit customer sites to diagnose and resolve product and service concerns, including startup, tuning, and commissioning of linkage- and servo-controlled boilers.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and support the development and delivery of technical training programs for representatives and technicians.
- Develop, maintain, and update technical procedures, service bulletins, and preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintain spare parts inventories and recommended spare parts kits.
- Collaborate with Engineering to identify, develop, and implement new troubleshooting procedures and service requirements.
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by Field Service Manager or Company management.
- Responsibility directly tied to Watts Value Integrity, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Transparency.
- Travel Requirements: 60-70%
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of field experience in commercial heating/domestic hot water.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic controls and hardware.
- Knowledge of steam and gas-fired equipment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with ownership mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Contractor license preferred.

Working Conditions:
While performing the job duties, you will be working remotely in an office environment. You may be required to occasionally travel to and work in the office for meetings, trainings, or as otherwise required by Company management.
