The Accounts Receivable Manager is a member of the Finance Team and manages the recognition of development revenue for the organization via our Salesforce CRM, working closely with the Development Team to track and project revenue. Responsibilities include managing operations such as revenue recognition and processing, and overseeing revenue reporting systems. We are seeking an experienced nonprofit professional familiar with the grant recording process, including contributions with donor restrictions and revenue reporting under ASC 606.

Who You Are and What You'll Do:

- You’ll manage the organizational grant recording process which includes:
- Reviewing and recording grant agreements and donations according to GAAP in the donor database (Salesforce);
- Managing revenue with donor restrictions and releases from restrictions;
- Running regular revenue reports to identify actuals and projections for financial reporting and to identify and track development goals;
- Preparing financial budgets and reports for grant submissions.
- You’re a key member of the finance team, tracking overall revenue goals on a monthly basis, serving as a development operations liaison, and managing the maintenance of electronic donor data.
- You will work with the larger Moishe House team to support strategies for effective development operations processes and procedures.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, business, or another finance-related field; four years of additional full-time relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of post-undergraduate, full-time, professional experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector, including a minimum of 3 years experience with grant-reporting processes and CRM use for reporting and managing data according to GAAP.
- You are an intermediate-to-advanced-level Salesforce (or other CRM) user and project manager, with experience using Salesforce in running reports, analyzing data, and tracking and projecting income. Salesforce experience is strongly preferred; users of other CRMs in a nonprofit setting will be considered.
- You have intermediate-to-advanced-level technical skills in using systems and databases, and full competency in the Microsoft Suite and other office management tools.
- You have significant experience in handling confidential and sensitive information, and clearly understand the need for this.

The Fine Print:
This is a full-time position, requires weekday hours, with occasional weekend and evening hours to complete job requirements, and reports in to the Vice President, Finance.
