JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a self-reliant Clinical Applications Analyst to support our EMR development team—a group of seven highly skilled analysts—providing expedient service support, impactful analysis, and quality project delivery. This role is central to advancing healthcare technology solutions that support more than ~65 clinics and 9 inpatient units, spanning diverse and complex service lines such as Hematology, Transplantation & Cellular Therapy, Gynecologic Oncology, and medical oncology (Breast/Lung/GI) and other departments as assigned. Our ideal candidate has Epic Certification or proficiency in any of the following clinical applications: Beacon, Clinical Documentation, Inpatient Procedure Orders, EpicCare Ambulatory.
What You’ll Do
As a Clinical Applications Analyst, you will serve as a catalyst for innovation, guiding your team through high-impact projects that directly support clinical operations and patient care. You will contribute to daily I.T. operations, ensure optimal team performance, and participate in cross-functional initiatives with internal partners across EMR teams, Health System Information Resources (HSIR), academic and administrative IT, and clinical leadership.
You’ll be part of the driving force behind seamless coordination, ensuring that critical changes—especially in inpatient and perioperative services—are executed with precision and timeliness. You’ll also facilitate EMR/Clinical Informatics and Epic Inpatient meetings, ensuring follow-up actions are tracked and completed effectively.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
- Education
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or related field.
- Experience
3 years progressively responsible business systems and/or Information Technology project experience, with exposure to systems or project development and testing, installation, and training.
Applicants without the stated degree, but with significant additional Information Technology systems and project experience, may be considered.
- Preferred
Epic Certification or proficiency in any of the following clinical applications: Beacon, Clinical Documentation, Inpatient Procedure Orders, EpicCare Ambulatory.
