What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is seeking a Temporary Admissions Specialist (Part-Time) within the Undergraduate Admissions department. This position specifically supports the mission through assisting Undergraduate Admissions with a higher-level support of projects that require experience in an admissions cycle and process understanding. The position will also assist with data entry, data clean up, outgoing and incoming mail processing, and/or general office duties. 

A high school diploma and less than one year of relevant work experience are required. An Associate's degree and three years of relevant work experience are preferred. A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. 

What You Will Do

  • Assist with advanced operational projects and data clean-up such as duplicate consolidation, complicated transcript review, and file completion queries
  • Collect and enter data from information cards and incoming high school transcripts, while troubleshooting and communicating data entry errors or limitations
  • Quality checking daily work to ensure all tasks are completed
  • Training others on Admissions processes and procedures
  • Sort and separate all incoming mail
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
  • Ability to comply with university policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
