Summary

CENTURION SERVICE GROUP – A TRIMEDX COMPANY

REMOTE ROLE WITH EXTENSIVE TRAVEL

The Sales Director leads business development efforts, including prospecting for new clients and managing key client relationships. Key duties include pursuing contracts with large health systems, new client implementations, account development and management, client education and training, and attending client functions/shows (as allowed). This position will require significant travel.

 

The Sales Director initiates, maintains and expands relationships with strategically important customers that meet the defined target account criteria. The position will be assigned to cover a set of customer targets and will be measured based on the initiation of new account relationships and closed business with these target accounts. Additionally, the position will be responsible for ongoing management of the customer relationship in collaboration with executive leadership, marketing, operations and the other functional department leaders through the close process. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex matters in an efficient and accurate manner.

Responsibilities          

  • Initiates, develops and maintains strong relationships with healthcare systems, IDNs, aggregate groups, and GPOs within territory.
  • Owns the new client implementation process and manages that process for clients meeting defined criteria.
  • Manages contract renewals for key clients as assigned.
  • Produces leads and sees them through the contracting phase to grow existing accounts to exceed territory goals and quotas.
  • Manages terms of contract, including partnering with clients, advising clients on how to handle surplus equipment, and providing comprehensive solutions and services to ensure Centurion is the exclusive partner for each client.
  • Increases awareness of Centurion’s service offerings within healthcare systems and GPOs, including surplus equipment sales, data destruction, certified appraisals, inventories, full scale liquidations for relocations and closures, and Centurion seller portal.
  • Enforces compliance with terms of contracts.
  • Partners with Sales Team to strategize how to grow business and maximize revenue.
  • Liaises between clients and internal teams to ensure clients are receiving the highest quality of service.
  • Travel to attend client meetings, internal Sales Team meetings, conferences and trade shows.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years sales experience, preferably within medical equipment sales.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare industry, especially medical equipment, and clinical engineering within hospitals.
  • Strong sales and communication skills, with proven success at developing, nurturing, and managing business relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal department customers.
  • Strategic and analytic thinker who can set priorities and manage time while managing multiple competing priorities with concurrent deadlines.
  • Strategically collaborates and effectively works with cross functional teams across the organization and the customers to obtain buy-in (e.g., Sales, Operations, Finance, Accounting, etc.).
  • Active listener and creative thinker who translates client needs into solutions and complex information into a customer-friendly format.
  • Knowledge of healthcare marketing, pricing, sales strategies, promotions, and advertising strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Acute attention to accuracy, quality, detail and thoroughness.
