We’re seeking a Manager, Medicare Value-Based Care Analytics to join our Analytics team in support of our Medicare Value Based Care initiatives.   This involves providing insight into the opportunities and threats governing one of the key growth areas of Privia’s Value-based care portfolio.   This person will be responsible for developing analyses, reports, models, and presentations in support of company objectives.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Cultivate a thorough understanding of the key and evolving regulations underlying Medicare FFS programs, particularly the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) 
  • Provide actionable reports and analysis to support our Medicare Fee For Service (FFS) value-based care (VBC) programs 
  • Proactively assess business problems and leverage data to identify opportunities and make recommendations to drive the business
  • Work with Analytics team members and leadership to help enable scalability and efficiency into key analytics processes
  • Engage key stakeholders to intimately understand and support their needs in driving key business decisions in Medicare Value Based care programs
  • Work effectively within a matrix environment to help foster team growth and advancement: help junior analysts, manage workloads, and setting team priorities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, or related healthcare and/or analytics degree preferred ore relevant work experience
  • 5+ years’ demonstrated work experience Value-based care initiatives, preferably within Medicare capacity
  • Ability to think critically, applying analytical frameworks to complex business problems to synthesize insights
  • Able to remain flexible and responsive in fluid situations with simultaneous projects and appropriately prioritize 
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships in high-pressure, fast-moving matrixed environments and motivate others to action
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to tailor the communication style to the audience, including analytics professionals, senior business leaders, physicians, and practice managers
  • Experience using SQL in large relational databases to query and cleanse data
  • Experience (preferred) or strong aptitude/willingness to learn SAS to to analyze large datasets is required.   R software helpful.
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations 

Colorado, New York, New Jersey, California and Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $125,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
