MCCH seeks a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Tech for the Laboratory Department working M-F and rotating weekends. The hours will be 0500-130p. It is a day position with rotating days. It includes excellent benefits.

Job Description:
Under the supervision of the designated Coordinator, performs clinical laboratory procedures, quality control, and instrument maintenance. The position reports to the Laboratory Director through the Coordinator. The Medical Technologist also maintains cooperative working relationships with intradepartmental and interdepartmental personnel.
Minimum Education:
- A Baccalaureate degree in medical technology or an affiliated field with a certification as a medical technologist by registry board of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent.
- One year of training in a school of medical technology approved by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent. Plus two to three years experience is required. Supervisory abilities must be exhibited.
Or
- An Associate Degree in Science or an affiliated field with a certification as a Medical Lab Technician by registry board of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent
- Five months or more of clinical training in a hospital laboratory. Registry as MLT with ASCP. One to three years experience is preferred
