Who will you be working with?
As the Regional Sales Leader, you will serve as the key interface with the assigned customers on the East Coast region and effectively manage interactions across the full range of products and services. This position will report to the North American VP of Sales, Regional, Shortline Railroads. You will integrate with the technical support team including contracts, finance, product support and others in the implementation of customer strategies.
How will you make a difference?
As a member of the Shortlines Commercial team, you will be responsible for the comprehensive account management of assigned customers and business growth across a broad product and service portfolio consisting of new and modernized locomotives, Locomotive & Freight Car components, Maintenance Service, Digital Solutions, including knowledge of Wabtec's RailConnect software and Infrastructure.

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, or a Minimum of 5 years of customer-facing or customer relationship management experience
- RailConnect Software knowledge and experience
- Railroad products, services, industry knowledge and technical depth and breadth

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Transportation/Logistics, Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
- Proven business and sales team leadership skills with a successful growth track record and margin retention

What will your typical day look like?
- Be responsible for business and sales growth leadership for the Wabtec product portfolio for your Key Accounts
- Develop marketing, sales and strategic business plans and be responsible for delivering revenue commitments
- Develop influential and effective relationships at all levels of the customer's organization and develop strategies to win business
- Provide key leadership in the generation of proposals, Business Selling Team (BST) initiatives and Multi-Generation Product Plans development
- Integrate the technical support team, including contracts, finance, product support, and others in the implementation of customer strategies
- Provide specific leadership, plans, and actions to assure that Wabtec wins profitable sales
- Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and leadership in their execution
- Be responsible for overall customer satisfaction evaluation, plans, and follow through

- Remote work: Since the role can be performed remotely (East Coast preferred), much of your time may be spent working from home or on the road.
