About the role

This Certified Pharmacy Technician position is responsible for providing Pharmacy Services within the Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy Department of the Nemours Children’s Hospital, DE (NCH-DE). The position is responsible for assisting in the preparation (including technical aspects of preparation) and delivery of all medications to patients. This position is responsible for providing customer service to internal and external customers, working under the operational supervision of the pharmacist. The majority of tasks and responsibilities are related to preparing, dispensing and distributing medications.

Interested applicants will be working primarily in the Outpatient Pharmacy providing retail and specialty pharmacy services.  This position is a part-time position (32 hours per pay period) which entails associates working 8 hour days (0900 - 17300) on weekdays and 4 hour days (0900-1300) on rotating weekends.  There are currently no holiday staffing requirements.  This is a fast paced environment working with a diverse team, providing services to both employees and patients.

Qualifications:

  • Retail Pharmacy Experience preferred; Children’s Hospital Pharmacy Experience preferred
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician required (CPhT)
