Our Technical Program Managers lead programs and initiatives across the division from concept to market. We align product, engineering, and business teams to exceed the expectations of our customers. Technical Program Managers are key contributors to Akamai's success. You will be responsible for leading projects and developing processes that enable us to measure and improve performance resulting in improved customer satisfaction.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading data transformation and tooling product development, ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Directing complex multi-disciplinary projects, leveraging technical expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams supporting the business goals
• Overseeing programs from concept to market, planning schedules, monitoring budgets, and tracking investment levels for success
• Communicating status updates and changes to senior leaders consistently, using standardized methods to ensure organizational alignment
• Mentoring team members informally, fostering collaboration, initiative, and shared problem-solving through active participation and technical guidance

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree
• Be comfortable navigating ambiguity, handling risks, and shifting gears as needed
• Inspire people at all levels of the organization without authority
• Demonstrate ability in change management and transformation processes
• Have significant experience in Smartsheet Pro and Agile processes and methodologies using tools like Jira, Confluence, or Trello
• Have professional experience as a Project Manager/Program Manager working effectively with cross-functional teams

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $108,900 - $226,100/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
