IBM IAM Product Expertise

• Configure and deploy IBM Security Verify, IVIA, IVIG and IBM Verify Privilege.
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Federation, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Identity Lifecycle Management and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Work on custom integrations, APIs, and connectors to enhance IBM IAM capabilities.

Your role and responsibilities

IBM Expert Labs is seeking a Senior Consultant with extensive expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), a proven track record in the security domain, and hands-on experience with IBM Security Verify products.

As a Senior IAM Delivery Consultant within IBM Expert Labs, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing IAM solutions for enterprise customers using IBM’s Verify Suite. You will work closely with clients to enhance security, streamline access management and ensure regulatory compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

IAM Solution Design & Implementation

• Lead the architecture, deployment, modernization and optimization of IBM Identity and Access Management solutions for enterprise customers.
• Provide strategic guidance on IAM best practices, governance, and security frameworks.
• Drive the adoption of Zero Trust principles and least privilege access models.

IBM IAM Product Expertise

• Configure and deploy IBM Security Verify, IVIA, IVIG and IBM Verify Privilege.
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Federation, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Identity Lifecycle Management and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Work on custom integrations, APIs, and connectors to enhance IBM IAM capabilities.

Customer Engagement & Support

• Work directly with enterprise clients, understanding their security challenges and designing tailored IAM solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and best practices to customers.
• Integrate IBM Verify IAM solutions seamlessly with enterprise applications and infrastructure.

Innovation & Best Practices

• Stay updated with IBM IAM advancements, cybersecurity trends, and Zero Trust frameworks.

Required technical and professional expertise

•    •  9+ years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management, with deep expertise in IBM Verify Suite of products including:
  • IBM Security Verify (Cloud, On-Prem and SaaS)
  • IBM Verify Identity Access (IVIA)/ IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA)
  • IBM Verify Identity Governance (IVIG)/IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM)
  • IBM Verify Privileged Access Manager (PAM)

·        • Strong understanding of IAM protocols & standards:

• SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, SCIM, Kerberos
• Federation and SSO implementations across cloud and hybrid environments

·        • Expertise in Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) implementation

·        • Proficiency in container deployment and orchestration for scalable IAM solutions.

·        • Strong grasp of Zero Trust Security principles and their application in IAM frameworks.

·        • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, custom connectors, scripting (Python, Bash, JavaScript), and automation tools.

·       • Customization of workflows in Verify Governance for user provisioning, role management, and access recertification.

• Experience in ISIM/ISV adapter development for integrating third-party applications.
