We are looking for a well-organized and detail-oriented team player to join our accounting department as an accounts payable associate. In this position you will input invoices into accounting software, generate payments, communicate politely and professionally with vendors and employees, and assist with month-end responsibilities. In addition, you will be tasked with reviewing invoices for accuracy and correct authorization; ensure three-way match by verifying agreement of purchase order receiving documents, and invoice; and resolve any invoicing issues including dollar amounts, quantities, receiving, etc. Our ideal candidate in this role needs to be proactive in their problem-solving abilities and a strong communicator. What You Will Do as a USANA Accounts Payable Associate
- Use accounting software to enter invoices, process payments, and research any issues
- Reconcile vendor statements to accounting software
- Know the General Ledger (GL) account structure and verify the accurate use of GL accounts
- Properly account for prepaid and fixed assets
- Enter foreign currency transactions and international invoices for non-U.S. entities
- Review and approve expense reports and corporate credit card transactions, including verifying coding
- Assist accounts payable manager with month-end accruals
- Working knowledge of computer and associated programs including ORACLE ERP (or similar), Coupa, and Microsoft Office
- Required two years of accounting experience or equivalent education
- Strong written and oral communication skills
