Job Duties

Good diagnostic & treatment development skills
Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary treatment team
Good knowledge of laws, policies and regulations of the DMHMRSAS relating to patient’s rights and treatment procedures; good writing skills and knowledge of POR

Minimum Qualifications

Physician should be a graduate of an approved or recognized medical school, legally licensed to practice in the State of Virginia and hold current DEA controlled substance registration.

Prior Geriatric/Psychiatric Hospital experience.

PGH is a facility operated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). PGH is a 123-bed psychiatric facility and the only facility that exclusively serves individuals over the age of 65.
