This position will support the Central Region. The Central Region is made up of Westwood, Century City, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica area, primarily in the Westwood Campus area, Century City and Beverly Hills, providing patient care for our inpatient and outpatient settings. This position participates in on-call, holiday, and weekend schedules as prepared by the manager. Additionally, participation in rotating shifts is required, as needed.

In this role, you will:

 
    • Provide age-appropriate assessment and interventions in order to meet the needs of patients and families served
    • Obtain, evaluate and use information from the patient requisition, medical records, referring physician and correlate with acquired images
    • Use cognitive sonographic skills, to identify and differentiate anatomy and pathology
    • Use independent judgement to produce diagnostic images of human anatomy utilizing diagnostic ultrasound systems for our referring providers and our interpreting physicians
    • Extend courtesy to our patients, family members, visitors and co-workers through our “World Class Practices” Service Standards

Internal candidates will be placed according to their Active/Current career ladder level.

External Candidates:

Staff Sonographer:

    • One to two years experience within the hospital / acute care setting
    • Must maintain active RDMS certification in one specialty, i.e. Abdomen or OB-GYN
