Chief Consultant for Data-Related Projects and Operations Planning

About the role

<p>The Operations &amp; Performance Development team (O&amp;PD) works closely with management to support the large and complex Personal &amp; Business Customer Services (P&amp;BC Services) organisation, comprising over a thousand staff across the Nordics and Lithuania. We handle a variety of organisational and business performance management tasks, ranging from executive reporting to data analytics and financial optimisation.</p> <p>You will have the exciting opportunity to form this new role. You will have an interesting mix of project management on data-related needs in P&amp;BC Services, explore new ways to optimise and elevate business insights through hands-on data analysis, and work within the operations management agenda through, e.g., owning, establishing, leading, and facilitating operations forecasting in the unit.</p> <p>The O&amp;PD team is a newly established team, currently consisting of four employees, three in Copenhagen, Denmark, and one in Helsinki, Finland, and three currently in the hiring process.</p> <p>Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you different seniority of the role. </p> <p>Please note that we are processing applications on a continuous basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.</p> <p><strong>You will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Take the lead on data-related projects within P&amp;BC Services from start to finish, collaborating closely with our team’s data analyst</li> <li>Establish data-related initiatives by internal customer request and on your own initiative based on your insights of business needs</li> <li>Explore data opportunities with hands-on analysis and critical thinking</li> <li>Represent P&amp;BC Services on data and insights needs in strategic projects, such as a new end-to-end case handling tool, ensuring that the unit’s needs are considered while contributing to forming design solutions</li> <li>Take over a newly started project aiming to establish and professionalise operations forecasting as a process and tool, which, after established, will become an ongoing part of your role along with ownership of the framework across P&amp;BC Services</li> <li>Gradually expand your responsibilities into operations planning, e.g., workforce strategy and capacity planning</li> <li>Manage an overview of data-related initiatives</li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of previous experience in project management</li> <li>High level of self-drive, proficient in problem solving and navigating in the unknown</li> <li>Interest and capability to explore opportunities within data through hands-on analysis and the ability to identify patterns for optimisation</li> <li>Previous experience in operations management or working with operations data is considered a bonus</li> <li>Good stakeholder management experience, as you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and senior leaders across the bank</li> <li>Advanced English language skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>We offer:</strong></p> <p><strong>This position can be located in Denmark, Finland and Lithuania.
