The Physician provides comprehensive medical care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting, to include diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. This role collaborates with nursing and other healthcare staff to develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Physician will also maintain accurate medical records and adheres to all healthcare regulations and facility policies.
This position is Part Time, On-site, 24 hours per week

All behavioral and mental health patients are diagnosed and managed by Licensed Mental Health Professionals and Psychiatrists or PMHNPs.

The medical department already has protocols and guidelines for management of individuals who who might be going through substance withdrawal.

We have obtain offsite medical records where available.

Our EMR is very user-friendly EMR and a dedicated in-house support team will help train and troubleshoot any issues as needed.
