Job Description

We are hiring a Hospital Security Operation Center (SOC) Dispatcher. The Hospital Security Operation Center Dispatcher will answer telephones and dispatch hospital security personnel accordingly, observe for signs of crime or disorder, monitor video recording devices, and provide information quickly and accurately to the appropriate individuals. 

 

Pay Rate: $23.50/hour

Schedule: 7:00am - 7:00pm (Wednesday - Saturday)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer telephones, acknowledge alarm signals, monitor video recording devices as assigned throughout the service area and accurately providing pertinent information to the Security SOC Supervisor
• Responsible for documenting incidents in detailed reports and assisting with the functions of physical and personal security and safety measures of staff, members, and visitors at the healthcare facility.
• Respond to the security needs of their assigned healthcare facility, its agents or contactors and personnel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Bachelors Degree is required
• At least 1 year of experience in Security, Law Enforcement or Military
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
