Personalization Analyst

We are seeking a Personalization Analyst to support A/B testing, personalization, site experience evaluation, and advanced data analysis for our ecommerce clients. This role will be instrumental in ensuring accurate data interpretation and actionable insights that drive optimization efforts. The ideal candidate has strong experience in GA4 infrastructure, SQL, and BigQuery, along with a deep understanding of ecommerce and personalization & A/B testing. They are clear and effective communicators who can build trust with business leaders by providing accurate, reliable, and meaningful analysis.

Your role

•    Design and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to evaluate site experience changes.
•    Partner with UX, product, and development teams to identify testing opportunities.
•    Provide data-backed recommendations to optimize site engagement, conversion rates, and user experience.
•    Ensure accurate GA4 tracking and infrastructure setup for all key user interactions and experiments.
•    Use SQL to query and analyze large datasets in BigQuery.
•    Interpret test results with statistical rigor and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
•    Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve site performance.
•    Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor site experience KPIs.
•    Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
•    Build trust with business leaders by ensuring accurate data interpretation and transparency in reporting.
•    Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align goals and insights.

Your skills and experience

•    Strong expertise in GA4, including event-based tracking and infrastructure setup.
•    Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and automation.
•    Experience working with Google BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
•    Experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g., VWO, Optimizely, Monetate, Google Optimize).
•    Ecommerce experience, particularly in analyzing customer journeys and conversion rates.
•    Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
•    Experience driving personalization strategy and integrating customer data across platforms.
•    Proven experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to manage expectations and communicate effectively.
•    Previous experience in an agency environment is strongly preferred.
•    Understanding statistical significance, regression analysis, and experiment design.
•    Familiarity with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
•    Knowledge of customer segmentation, personalization strategies, and behavioral analysis.
•    Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
