The successful candidate will lead data-centric initiatives for the Pacific Command (PACOM), leveraging their expertise in data management, analysis, and business process optimization. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in data management within the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
Responsibilities:Lead and manage data-focused projects and initiatives, collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals.Develop and implement data strategies, business processes, and standards to ensure efficient and effective data management practices.Analyze and assess existing data systems, processes, and architectures, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into broader organizational frameworks and systems.Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data management and analysis.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Active Secret Clearance is mandatory.5-10 years of experience working with data in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.Proven track record of leading successful data initiatives, including data governance, quality management, and analytics.Expertise in data modeling, database design, and data visualization tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is desirable.
