Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Maritime and Intelligence Systems (M&IS) seeks an Entry Level or Associate Manufacturing Engineer (Electrical/Electronics) (Level 1 or 2), to join our team in Lemont Furnace and Smithfield, Pennsylvania.

This position will support growth of the electronics and electrical manufacturing facility which supports defense programs from seabed to space.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.

  • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.

  • Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.

  • Assists in implementing manufacturing plans.

  • Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.

  • Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.

  • Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of related work experience or combination or education and experience

  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance

  • Experience in electrical/electronics manufacturing

  • Experience or coursework in 3D modeling applications such as Catia, Siemens NX, or SolidWorks

  • Experience or coursework using manufacturing execution systems such as TipQA Shopfloor Execution

  • Experience or coursework in lean manufacturing

  • Experience or coursework in statistical process analysis

Entry Level (Level 1) Summary pay range: $63,750 - $86,250

Associate (Level 2) Summary pay range: $75,650 - $102,350
