About the role
Job Profile:
The Maintenance Tool Crib Team Member is responsible for maintaining and repairing all tools, equipment, and
consumables of the tool crib. In addition, this team member will conduct receiving, inventory management,
and parts issuance to ATX internal customers.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintaining computerized tooling inventory levels of all consumables and ensures that all tools and equipment are kept in good repair.
- Performing weekly consumable inventory checks, and requisition items as required, including tooling vending machines.
- Maintaining all tools and equipment in a proactive manner, and ensure that all items are signed out at the start of the shift and signed back in at the end of the shift.
- Creating and maintaining a log of tools, equipment and other consumables such as reporting regularly to the supervisor with items that are requiring repair, and items that are not returned to the tool crib at the end of the shift.
- Coordinate tool regrind and recoat outsourcing.
- Keeping the Tool Crib neat and orderly, in order to effectively perform job functions.
- Safely execute workplace rules and standards.
- Monitor the safety, quality, and productivity of the production machinery, and equipment.
- Establish and maintain productive and effective working relationships with ATX Team Members and Japanese Maintenance team members.
- Other Maintenance duties as assigned.
Required Qualification/Education:
- High school Diploma or GED required.
- College or technical school coursework completed is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Tool Crib, General Stores, or Warehouse is required.
- Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
- Experience in the operation of automatic part storing system is a plus.
- Experience and knowledge in using a computerized inventory system is a plus.
- Experience in a cross-cultural working environment is a plus.
