Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with Engineering teams, MTC, outside suppliers, and the manufacturing plants, during the introduction and support of product.
  • Reduce manufacturing costs, apply vertical integration, and achieve 10-year volumes.
  • Work in a team environment, engaging employees to develop and expand manufacturing capabilities of internal and external processes.
  • Provide manufacturing expertise in the areas of plastic processing.
  • Work with the Crown plastics team on the "Crown Plastics Center of Excellence Vision"
  • Focused leadership with the "Manufacturing Principles and Commitments" in mind.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment towards our current Manufacturing Break Through Objectives.
  • Develop detailed business cases for new manufacturing processes and present them to the leadership team.
  • Mentor, coach, teach, and develop Manufacturing Engineers in plastics processing.
  • This position will report to an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager in New Bremen, Ohio.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 8-15 years of related experience.
  • Associate Degree
  • Must have extensive background in plastics related technology.
  • Must have valid driving privileges.
  • Frequent travel (5-15%)
  • Frequent overnight stays (5-15%)

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, with extensive experience in an injection molding environment.
  • Strong background in injection molding process and tooling improvement
  • Ability to integrate NX CAD models for mold ability.
  • An understanding of Mold Flow Analysis software
